The apostille serves as an international validation that a document has been authenticated in its country of origin among signatories and participants of the Hague Convention. The finalised apostille form confirms the legitimacy of the document's signature, the official role of the signer, and verifies the seal or stamp present on the document. Please note that apostille stamps are charged extra to the certificate and also have an extra 10 working day time frame to complete on top of your selected certificate production time frame. If you are unsure as to how long your selections will take to complete please email or contact us by telephone and we will be happy to advise. Important! Please check that the country you will be using the apostille in is party to the Hague Apostille Convention. If not, you may also need further attestation from the embassy of the requesting country.

You can also order certificates for event which took place overseas and which were registered with the British Authorities.

ORDERING
Using the information supplied by you via this website, we search the registers on your behalf. We cannot be held responsible for any incorrect, incomplete or false information that may be submitted by you, the customer. We process all orders promptly and efficiently. When an order is submitted and paid for after 2pm this will be deemed as being received the following working day.

DESPATCH
Despatch terms that we quote are given in good faith. Certificates are despatched to the address provided by you on our order form using the domestic postal system. The given despatch time is based on business / working days and are counted from the first complete business / working day onwards. We shall not be held responsible or liable for any event which results from either the delay or the non-delivery of a certificate. Customers must be aware that items can sometimes be delayed or lost in despatch. We shall not be liable for events beyond our control such as Royal Mail postal strikes. We can never confirm delivery dates only the despatch dates, unless the certificate has been despatched by Royal Mail Special Delivery, and is therefore guaranteed to arrive by 1pm on the next working day. cost The cost of a certificate shall always include the cost of the actual certificate itself, as well as the administrative cost which we charge.

DELIVERY
We deem delivery to take affect at the point of despatch. We shall not accept liability for non-delivery or delay of delivery. We of course shall endeavour to ensure certificates reach you, and in the unlikely event of non delivery shall use our discretion in issuing additional certificates at no extra charge to you. To ensure customer privacy we shall delete order details 6 months after date of order.

CANCELLATIONS & AMENDMENTS
Once an order has been submitted there is no facility to cancel or amend. Once we have committed ourselves to a supplier for the placed order we will not be in a position to offer a refund. Only in special pre agreed circumstances shall we be able to make a partial refund.

Will I Get a Long or Short Version of My Birth Certificate?

At UK Official Certificates, we supply only the full, detailed long-form birth certificate—suitable for official purposes such as passport applications, visa processing, school registration, and more. Certificates will be in the Spanish language and so may need to be translated, we do not offer a translation service, however, they are readily available online.

Will My Replacement Certificate Be an Official Document?

Yes. All certificates are officially reissued in Spain by the appropriate government authorities based on each individual application, we can also supply apostille stamps should you require them.
