Ordering a Certificate

We use the information supplied by you via this website to search the registers on your behalf. We cannot be held responsible for any incorrect, incomplete or false information that may be submitted by you, the customer. We process all orders promptly and efficiently. When an order is submitted and paid for after 2 pm this will be deemed as being received the following working day.

 

Payments

We accept Visa and Mastercard, your card will be debited at time of order by UK-Official Certificates. UK Official Certificates is a trading name of E Service.

VAT

All certificates are exempt of VAT.

 

Despatch of your Replacement Certificate

Despatch terms quoted are given in good faith. Certificates are despatched to the address provided on our order form using the domestic postal system. The given despatch time is based on business days. The despatch time is counted from the first complete business working day onwards. We shall not be held responsible or liable for any event which results from either the delay or the non-delivery of a certificate. Customers should be aware that items can sometimes be delayed as well as lost in despatch. We shall not be liable for events beyond our control such as Royal Mail postal strikes. Unless the certificate has been despatched by Royal Mail Special Delivery we cannot confirm delivery dates. The cost of a certificate shall always include the cost of the actual certificate itself, as well as the administrative cost which we charge.

 

Delivery of your Replacement Certificate

We deem delivery to take affect at the point of despatch. We shall not accept liability for non-delivery or delay of delivery. We, of course, shall endeavour to ensure certificates reach you. Also, in the unlikely event of non-delivery, we shall use our discretion in issuing additional certificates at no extra charge to you. To ensure customer privacy we shall delete order details 6 months after the date of order.

 

Cancellations and Amendments

Once an order has been submitted there is no facility to cancel or amend it. Orders are fed into a production queue and unfortunately cannot be retrieved.

 

Unsuccessfull Searches

If we are unable to locate a match to a requested record, we shall in the first instance make contact with you to try and rectify the issue. If we are still unable to identify and supply a certificate we will refund you in full less the small transaction fee levied by the payment provider, around 2% of the transaction value.
